Mini White Sage Smudge Stick

These cute little smudging sticks are made with sage from new mexico and are combined with a blend chosen from cedar, sweetgrass, copal and lavender.

All sticks are wrapped with 100% cotton yarn for safe and healthy burning. Each ingredient is considered a sacred herb used for centuries by Native Americans in their smudging ceremonies. 'Smudging' is the name given to the burning of these herbs for the purposes of cleansing and sending out prayers.

Today, people are 'smudging' to receive the benefits known to generations of our Native American brothers and sisters.

This high quality sage wand has a distinctive aromatic scent. The wand is lit and blown out, and then, as smoke arises, you can use a feather or your hand to smudge a person, room or object. Put in a heat resistant dish or smudge bowl between uses.

Palo Santo Wood

Palo Santo, or Burseara Graveolens, is known as the Holy or Sacred Wood. The Qero's and indigenous people of the Andes use it for purifying and cleansing properties. It is also used in healing ceremonies and rituals. It has a rich and poweful fragrance. This wood is sourced from a sustainable managed forest in South America and is only harvested from downed trees which have been left on the forest floor from 4 to 10 years to mature. Light and blow out for the smudging and aromatic properties.

As always, take care with flammable items and never leave burning sage or palo santo unattended.
